“Can an app help without turning a hard moment into a dashboard?”
The question
Most behavior-change apps default to the same two shapes: a mood tracker that logs feelings with nowhere to go, or a content library of articles you never open again. Becoming is neither. It's built around a companion, Zya, who stays with one pattern at a time (rumination, social anxiety, impulse control) and moves it through a real loop instead of just recording it.
What it does
Onboarding builds a personality profile from how you actually answer, not a generic quiz result, and Zya uses it from the very first goal. Every goal then runs through the same four stages: notice the pattern as it's happening, understand what starts and sustains it, commit to one concrete real-world experiment, and make the win repeatable. In the moment itself, grounding, "delay the urge," and mood tracking are built for right now, not for later.

- 2. Understanding
- 3. Experiment
- 4. Integration
One loop, every goal
The engineering bet is that consistency beats novelty: every goal, regardless of what it's about, moves through the identical four-stage loop with Zya, so progress is never a vague feeling. It's a stage you can point to.
